Job Description:
Memorial Hermann, a distinguished leader in healthcare within
Texas, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for
our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). This position
entails providing critical care to patients with complex cardiac
conditions, underpinned by our commitment to clinical excellence
and patient satisfaction. Working in our state-of-the-art CVICU,
the successful candidate will demonstrate advanced clinical skills,
compassion, and a robust understanding of cardiac care dynamics.
Assess, plan, and implement patient care plans in collaboration
with healthcare team. Monitor patient health and progress
post-surgery. Administer medications and treatments effectively
while managing advanced medical equipment. Educate patients and
families on treatment plans and cardiovascular health management.
Ensure adherence to all hospital and departmental safety protocols.
Strong clinical skills in cardiovascular and critical care.
Proficiency in the use of CVICU medical equipment. Ability to
perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered
Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas. Basic Life Support (BLS)
Certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Certification preferred.
