Location: Houston, TX Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Shift: Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pay Rate: $36–$45 per hour
(based on experience) Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC"
is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to join a
high-quality oncology care team in Houston, TX. This role involves
administering radiation treatments to patients while ensuring
accuracy, safety, and compassionate care. The ideal candidate is
patient-focused, detail-oriented, and experienced in operating
advanced radiation therapy equipment. Key Responsibilities Perform
treatment simulations and assist with dosimetric calculations to
ensure precise radiation delivery Administer radiation therapy
treatments using LINAC technology Monitor patients during treatment
sessions and provide appropriate support and reassurance Explain
treatment procedures and address patient questions or concerns
Operate, calibrate, and assist in maintaining radiation therapy
equipment Maintain accurate and detailed patient treatment and care
documentation Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and medical
physicists to optimize patient outcomes Adhere to all facility
policies, procedures, and radiation safety protocols Required
Qualifications ARRT-T (Therapeutic Radiologic Technologist)
certification MRT license from the Texas Medical Board (TMB) BLS
(Basic Life Support) certification Proven experience operating
LINAC equipment Strong communication, patient care, and
organizational skills Preferred Attributes Experience in a
fast-paced oncology or hospital-based environment Commitment to
