Job Description Job Description Hunton Distribution, a division of Hunton Group in Houston, TX (www.huntongroup.com), has a new and exciting opportunity for you to join our organization as an HVAC Counter Sales Representative . This position requires a self-starting, well organized individual to develop and maintain industry sales. Customer base will comprise of commercial HVAC owners, commercial self-servicing end users, and residential contractors. We are looking for a bilingual candidate with strong proficiency in both English and Spanish. Responsibilities: Ascertain customers' needs/determine parts/equipment solutions. Ascertain customers' needs/determine filtration. Responsible to manage leads and opportunities from existing, and/or new customer base. Participate with team members to properly identify customers' needs, estimate, design and accurately quote projects. Conducts sales of HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies over the phone and over the counter. Orders required parts. Provides technical support to customers. Answer's customer calls and identifies parts. Coordinate's product promotions. Loads and unloads shipment of parts, supplies, and equipment. Receives and processes customer orders. Responds to customer's inquiries, questions, or complaints regarding products or services. Responsible for warranty administration on all parts. Records changes in inventory status by completing paperwork and updating data base, as necessary. Maintains supplies inventory by recording quantities used and determining supplies needed. Responds to literature requests from customers. Possesses knowledge of the Trane product line to be able to demonstrate and discuss with customers. Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required. Qualifications: Microsoft Word and Excel required. Strong organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. HVAC experience desired. English/Spanish bilingual is a plus. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Comfortable with heights and can confidently work at elevations up to 30 ft. Education/Experience Required: One-year certificate from College or Technical School is a plus. 3-5 years of customer service or equivalent experience preferred. Job Posted by ApplicantPro
