If you are a seasoned insurance agent experienced in complex risks, we would like to discuss an excellent opportunity with you. As a Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative, you are responsible for helping to support our clients with their day-to-day needs. You should be comfortable with promptly responding to insured's requests, reaching out to them by phone, processing payments and supporting account managers with needs from clients. You should provide excellent service and communicate regularly with customers in need of our assistance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support Account Managers to complete administrative tasks
  • Create/update coverage specifications in agency management system (Applied Epic)
  • Process clients' certificates of insurance and evidence of property
  • Maintain accurate customer files and update activities with clear, concise notes
  • Utilize carrier websites to process changes and access policy documents
  • Check carrier websites daily for cancellations or endorsement updates
  • Check policies and endorsements for accuracy & deliver to insured
  • Issue ID cards

    • High school diploma required
    • College degree, (2 or 4 year) preferred
    • One year Insurance or office experience, preferred but not required
    • Property and casualty insurance license requiredTechnology Skills:
      • Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook, required
      • Familiarity with Applied Epic agency management software, preferredOther Qualifications:
        • High attention to detail and organization skills
        • Quick response time to customer requests to confirm receipt
        • Excellent communication skills
        • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
        • Strong problem-solving skills
        • Ability to interact with diverse personalities
        • Strong verbal and written communication skills
