Job Description:
- Performs all technical duties to support New Product
Development electrical assembly activities.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, circuit schematics,
wiring diagrams and assembly prints.
- Use hand tools to perform crimping, soldering and screw
bolts.
- Remove failed component wires from boards and/or other failed
components using solder, crimped connectors or equivalent.
- Mount new component wires from boards and/or other components
using solder, crimped connectors or equivalent.
- Mount components on chassis panel, tool kit or
equivalent.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with products and
assemblies.
- Perform continuity tests on completed assemblies.
- Ability to adjusts or trims materials from components to
achieve specified electrical or dimensional
characteristics.
- May perform assembly operations under microscope or other
magnifying.
- Interact with Design Engineer to perform board inspection and
repair.
- Build wire harness using crimping, soldering, and splicing
techniques.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
- Dexterity to use hand tools, fasten small hardware and connect
lugged/pinned wires.

Requirements
- Must have knowledge/experience in reading and interpreting
blueprints, circuit schematics, wiring diagrams and assembly
print.
- Must have at least 3+ years of work experience as
Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Electron-Mechanical
Assembler.
- Must have experience in using hand tools.
- Knowledge/experience with wire harness, crimping, splicing &
soldering.
- Must be able to navigate simple software.
- Perform another work-related task as required as
assigned.
- Wear PPE always and observe health, safety, and environmental
policies.
- Successfully complete required safety training (including but
not limited to forklift, drugs, and alcohol, electrical, emergency
response, fire, first aid, health and hygiene, PPE, SIPP, risk
reporting, IT security, hazardous materials, driving).
- Minimum high school education or equivalent. A degree is
preferred.
