As such we are looking for talented and motivated technology leaders to join the organization. SWWC has an immediate opening for a Senior IT SAP Manager. The role requires a mix of SAP functional and leadership skills to deliver projects in a highly integrated multi-functional environment. The successful candidate will work alongside business and technical teams to understand requirements and design solutions that are scalable to meet the needs of high volume processes where performance and efficiency is key. ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY Reporting to the Vice President of Information Technology, the Senior IT SAP Manager will be accountable for successful implementations that span a variety of functional areas. You will lead the SAP application development team and together will partner with internal and external stakeholders in other locations and time zones. The role includes responsibility for all aspects of a project, start to finish: functional and technical gap analysis, project scoping, budgeting, testing, implementation and everything in between. Interpersonal, time management and collaboration skills are critical. --A fter taking the position, you will be expected to craft the longer-term role and responsibilities of this position that best supports the department's long term mission. Essential Functions:

• Responsibilities include leading, developing and supporting the SAP (ISU) Functional team resulting in optimal customer service
• Appropriately build internal credibility with Information Technology team, stakeholders from internal customers and company leadership
• Success measurements include customer satisfaction, quality, efficiency, team member satisfaction
• Effectively lead resources that are direct reports plus individuals who do not have direct reporting relationships either inside or outside IT. When necessary, work with their supervisors to address any issues including availability and performance.
• Effectively support and develop team members
• Ensure application team's mission is aligned with overall IT mission Project Management and Leadership
  • Position holder will be expected to successfully implement a wide array of projects including new business integrations, functional enhancements, and system upgrades
  • Understands common and popular project implementation methodologies including traditional "waterfall" approaches such as System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Stage Gate, plus more recent approaches - specifically Agile.
  • Applicant is expected to be effective at processing general direction / suggestions and applying that to a given situation. Essentially the expectation is that they can deal with ambiguity and not deflect accountability. Administration
    • Requires capability to handle budgeting, forecasting, capital vs. operational expense funding and vendor management
    • Requires effective oral and written communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of internal customers.
    • Expected to be a self-motivated team player with the ability to work with others as well as independently with minimal supervision.

    • Expected to understand company specific business process and how that translates into IT service and "get it right" so the customer is pleased with the results whatever turn that may take SKILLS & ABILITIES General: Must be detail and goal-oriented and able to independently plan and execute projects with minimal supervision. Often under deadline pressure, must be able to work effectively with several projects simultaneously. Must be able to prepare written reports, letters, and master plans. Must have a good awareness of business processes and a high level of business acumen. Education: Bachelor's degree. Concentration in Engineering, Business, Management Information Systems or Computer Science preferred. Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) a plus. Experience: Minimum 10 years relevant experience in Information Technology project management with roles that had clear accountability for success including experience managing a department and/or project teams. Consulting experience a plus. Experience in Utilities and in particular water a plus. Track record that can be articulated of successful SAP implementations as a project lead a significant plus. Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Awareness of Cyber Security protocols. Awareness of Wide Area Network (WAN), Data Center and Cloud Computing architecture fundamentals. Understanding of Cloud Computing applications and the relevant business cases to make solution determinations. Knowledge of SAP ISU including Customer Relationship & Billing, Invoicing, Dunning, Device Management, Customer Service, Contract Accounts Receivables & Payables (FICA), Work Management a plus Certifications & Licenses: Relevant technology certifications a plus. Examples include SAP Certifications, Project Management Professional (PMP).
