Are you a team player with a strong work ethic who enjoys working outdoors? Our new tree climber position might be the perfect opportunity for you. You'll be responsible for carrying out a variety of tasks assigned to you by the crew leader to support job assignments, including tree trimming, stump grinding, chipping, as well as climbing and ground person duties. You'll also learn important cabling and rigging techniques from experienced crew members on the job. The ideal candidate is physically capable of performing strenuous work at high heights in unfavorable weather conditions and has strong communication skills. Apply now!Compensation:$25 - $35 DOEResponsibilities:Fulfill all tree trimming and pruning services for tree maintenance
Collect and feed branches and brush into a chipper
Carry out tree removal services
Observe and comply to all safety policies and procedures
Help clear property from work area with ground crew

Climb trees using industry-approved techniques and systems to perform pruning, removals, and aerial operations.Follow safe climbing, rigging, and cutting practices in accordance with ANSI Z133 and A300 standards.Operate chainsaws and hand tools safely both on the ground and in the canopy.Assist with jobsite setup, debris removal, equipment inspections, and work zone safety.Communicate effectively with the ground crew and other climbers using verbal and non-verbal signals.Maintain personal climbing gear and assist with the care of company equipment.Uphold a clean, organized, and hazard-free worksite.Demonstrate professionalism in appearance, conduct, and client interactions.Qualifications:Valid driver's license required; commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred
A high school diploma or GED is preferred
Excellent work ethic and strong communication skills
Must be able to safely move heavy objects and equipment (50+ lbs)
Comfortable working at heights and all weather conditions

Minimum RequirementsPrior experience in tree climbing or successful completion of a recognized climbing training program.Physical ability to perform strenuous work outdoors in all weather conditions, including climbing, lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.Willingness to follow safety procedures and wear assigned PPE at all times.Ability to travel to job sites and work scheduled hours as needed.Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with MRS and/or SRS climbing systemsChainsaw operation skills in tree care environmentsKnowledge of tree species, defects, and pruning techniquesStrong teamwork, communication, and situational awarenessWork Environment & Physical DemandsThis is a physically demanding, outdoor position that involves exposure to heights, uneven terrain, loud equipment, and variable weather conditions.
