Job Description:

We are seeking a results-driven, detail-oriented, and experienced Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, cloud-native data solutions. This role requires deep expertise in enterprise data architecture, cloud services (preferably AWS), and hands-on experience in data modeling, data governance, and security. You will play a key role in shaping the strategic vision and delivering innovative, cost-effective solutions aligned with business objectives.Job Responsibilities:

• Lead architecture strategy and end-to-end solutioning for enterprise data systems.
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models supporting structured and unstructured data.
• Architect scalable, flexible, and cost-effective enterprise data platforms in a cloud environment (AWS preferred).
• Define and implement data governance frameworks, data mastering, metadata management, and taxonomies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand use cases and deliver architectural solutions.
• Perform vendor assessments and recommend third-party solutions when appropriate.
• Document architectural designs and data flows at multiple levels of abstraction.
• Act as a key liaison between IT, DevOps, security, application teams, and senior leadership.
• Drive alignment between business strategies and technical implementations.
• Evangelize architectural recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.Required Skills:
  • Expertise in cloud-based data architecture (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP acceptable).
  • Proficient in data modeling, data governance, and metadata management.
  • Experience with AWS services such as Redshift, DynamoDB, Glue, S3, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks including microservices, event-driven architecture, and API management (OAuth).
  • Fluency in architecture documentation: conceptual, logical, physical diagrams and data flows
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.Preferred Skills:
    • Background in semantic layer design and ontologies.
    • Knowledge of data security and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
    • Experience with POC development and technical evaluations.
    • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD environments.Certifications:AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty or AWS Certified Solutions Architect preferred
