position as Senior Communication Partner is responsible for
planning and coordinating the com-pany's public relations efforts,
including serving as the first line of contact in day-to-day media
relations and developing and executing proactive public relations
activities in close collaboration with a wide range of internal and
external stakeholders.
The Senior Communication Partner holds an important role as
communication advisor to manage-ment and functional leadership,
supporting the VP of Communication & Sustainability in relation to,
among other things, leadership and organizational communication,
issues management and high-stakes communication challenges. The
Senior Communication Partner is a standing member of the company's
emergency response team.
The Senior Communication Partner also manages the corporate website
in collaboration with other functions and internal stakeholders, as
well as contributing to the Communication & Sustainability team's
ongoing development and execution of cross-channel content, for
example on social media channels and the 'OneNoble' employee news
app.Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent within Communication, Public
Relations, Journalism, English, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience with public relations, strategic
communication and/or communication advisory, as well as hands-on
experience with developing and executing communications. Interest
or experience within the Oil & Gas industry or Energy sector a
plus.
- Strategically oriented with the ability to engage with and
advise C-level management on communication, combined with business
acumen, a 360-degree outlook and attention to detail in
execution.
- Excellent writing (English), presentation and project
management skills with the ability to leverage communications
consistency in support of the execution of communication strategies
and plans.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word,
Excel).
- Proficiency with digital communication tools such as content
management systems and internal collaboration and information
platforms, combined with a high level of understanding of the
modern corporate communication ecosystem.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to
build lasting, productive professional relationships with key
stakeholders internally and externally.
- Industry experience is a plus.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Senior
Communication Partner is responsible for the following tasks (list
is not exhaustive):
- Management of the company's relations to media and other
external stakeholders, with an overall responsibility for
supporting the company brand and protecting its reputation, and
serving as deputy to the VP of Communication & Sustainability as
needed.
- Advise corporate management, functional leadership and other
internal stakeholders on internal and external communication,
including developing and executing communication plans and
materials as well as preparing and training leaders and
spokespersons in connection with major corporate events and
initiatives and media appearances.
- Strengthen Noble's branding and reputation by developing and
preparing proactive public relations activities, including in
coordination with customers and partners, as well as being
responsible for daily media monitoring and serving as the first
line of contact for media and handling reactive media relations
based on the corporate strategy and branding.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with key internal
and external stakeholders to identify relevant communication needs
and develop both external and internal communication
initiatives.
- Management of the corporate website, from developing the
overall structure and content to executing day-to-day updates in
collaboration with the vendor.
- Assist in the coordination and creation of communication
content for cross-channel use including press releases, website
content, social media posts, internal news articles, presentations,
videos, and other formats.
