Position Summary

Delivers the highest quality customer service to all members and guest through professional greetings, account maintenance, and extensive knowledge of Life Time products and services. Anticipates member needs and interests and recommends programs, products and services appropriately. Helps maximize member retention by connecting each member to the right people, places and programs.Coaches Team Members to proactively meet the needs of members and guests through accurately answering questions. At times, will assist with Member cancellation requests and other various membership changes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greets and admits members in a friendly and professional manner into the club by scanning their membership cards or phone and identify flags upon check resulting in member communication and proactive build relationships with members
  • Greets guests and determine the appropriate guest type utilizing the electronic guest register SOP
  • Contacts members via phone, email and in-club conversations, building relationships and engaging members within their areas of interest by developing positive relationships, responding to member needs, and recommending programs, products and services appropriately
  • Expert in account maintenance with the ability to response and process members needs and requests including program, service and product payments, monthly dues and drawer reconcilation
  • Assists with supervising and assessing team members providing constructive feedback and helping them develop excellent customer service and promotional skills
  • Functions as a player on the Certified Retention Team and completes membership changes as needed

Position Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year customer service experience
  • Ability to stand for minimum for 4 hours at a time
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to proficiently use a computer
  • Basic mathematical skills required
  • Ability to multitask and learn quickly

Preferred Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of all club activities and promotions
  • Excellent customer service and promotional skills
  • Ability to resolve conflict in a professional and tactful manner
  • Ability to build relationships with members
