Job Description:

Role: The Office Manager coordinates the activities and documentation of the agency. Scheduler responsibilities are for developing and maintaining the flexible schedules of company employees as well as direct client contact regarding schedules and their adjustments. A desire and ability to act as a substitute caregiver and periodically be part of the on-call rotation team is also a must. Scope of Position: Reports to the Director of Care Operations and Director of Business AdministrationMajor Responsibilities

  • Support activities for management and marketing as requested to maintain the operations of the business including caregiving duties
  • Complete daily, weekly and monthly scheduling tasks with caregivers, clients
  • Complete onboarding of new hires
  • Maintain and manage employee files
  • Office, clerical activities, data entry as directed
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
  • All of the criteria specified for a caregiver, since the position may require filling in for the caregiver under some circumstances
  • Able to communicate effectively with caregivers, as well as the Administrator, Director of Client/Caregiver Services, management personnel, prospective clients and partners, as appropriate
  • Able to use and learn scheduling software and MS Office applications including reasonably quick typewriting skills
  • Thorough knowledge of licensing standards for home and community support services, appropriate codes, and regulations as required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - oral, conversational, telephone, and written
  • Must have strong organizational and team leadership skills
  • Able to read and understand personal care plans for each of their clients and assure the clients' appropriate discharge
  • Able to assess caregivers' skills, personalities, and interests sufficiently to provide input on good client/caregiver matches and be able to take a patient's perspective
Physical Qualifications:
  1. Able to work an average of 35 hours per week.
  2. to bend, climb, stoop, and stand an average of 5 hours per day.
  3. Able to use tools necessary for the job
