The ideal candidate is skilled in handling a full range of family law matters—including divorce, custody, child support, spousal support, domestic violence, adoption, and protective orders—and is confident representing clients in court. This position offers autonomy, a steady caseload, and the opportunity to grow within a supportive firm environment. Key Responsibilities ? Manage a full caseload of family law matters from intake to resolution. ? Conduct client consultations and provide strategic legal advice. ? Draft and review pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and related filings. ? Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations. ? Stay current on state and local family law regulations and case law. ? Collaborate with paralegals and administrative staff to ensure efficient case management. ? Maintain accurate timekeeping and billing records. ? Build strong relationships with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel. Qualifications ? Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. ? Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar. ? Family Law Experience strongly preferred ? Confident in courtroom advocacy and client representation. ? Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. ? Strong attention to detail and commitment to client service. ?
