Job Description:
AI Evangelist – Manufacturing (AI led advisory & growth) The
Manufacturing Sector at Infosys is seeking an AI Evangelist at a
Senior Manager, Client Services Level. Role Summary The AI
Evangelist – Manufacturing is a client-facing expert responsible
for driving AI-led transformation conversations with manufacturing
clients across the value chain. This role combines deep industry
expertise and AI strategy leadership. The individual will engage
directly with client senior leaders to shape AI vision, identify
high-impact transformation opportunities, and convert them into
tangible revenue. They will work closely with Infosys’ extended
ecosystem—technology, solutions, consulting, and delivery teams—to
win and scale AI programs while acting as a trusted advisor on
select clients’ strategic AI initiatives during the execution
process. Key Responsibilities CXO Engagement & Thought Leadership
Act as a trusted AI advisor to Manufacturing leaders – CXOs, VPs
etc, helping them reimagine business and operational processes
using AI. Lead executive level discussions on AI strategy, roadmap,
operating models, and value realization across the manufacturing
value chain (engineering, supply chain, manufacturing operations,
aftermarket, sales & service). Represent Infosys in executive
briefings, industry events, AI workshops, and client leadership
forums, positioning Infosys as a top AI transformation partner.
Opportunity Identification & Revenue Accountability Own
accountability for identifying, shaping, and generating AI-led
opportunities within manufacturing accounts in partnership with
sales team Partner with Sales, Account Teams, and Industry leaders
to convert conversations with client leaders into qualified
pipeline and signed deals. Influence deal strategy, value
articulation, and executive positioning to improve win rates for AI
opportunities. Solution Shaping & Deal Support Collaborate with
Infosys experts across technology, AI platforms, industry
solutions, consulting, and delivery to design differentiated AI
propositions. Provide strategic inputs into proposals, business
cases, and transformation roadmaps, ensuring alignment with client
priorities and measurable outcomes. Support flagship pursuits as a
solution evangelist, especially for complex or first of kind AI
programs. Ecosystem & Capability Collaboration Work closely with
Infosys’ AI, technology, consulting, and partner ecosystem (cloud,
AI platforms, industry ISVs) to bring best of breed solutions to
clients. Contribute to building reusable AI industry assets, POVs,
playbooks, and accelerators for manufacturing. Key Skills &
Experience Basic Qualifications Strong expertise in the discrete
manufacturing industry value chain, with hands on exposure to areas
such as engineering, supply chain, manufacturing operations,
quality, aftermarket, or industrial services. Proven experience
engaging with CXO and other senior level stakeholders, leading
strategic transformation discussions. Good understanding of AI,
GenAI, and data driven transformation, with the ability to
translate technology into business outcomes. Strong learnability
skills to keep abreast of Infosys and partner offerings
Demonstrated ability to generate opportunities and influence deal
closure in a consulting or technology services context. Strong
collaboration skills across sales, consulting, technology, and
delivery teams. Must be open to travel. Candidates authorized to

Qualifications Background in management consulting, digital
transformation, or industry solutions for manufacturing clients.
Experience in building or scaling AI programs, AI COEs, or AI
transformation roadmaps. Exposure to large global manufacturing
enterprises and complex, multi stakeholder programs. Success
Measures/KRAs AI pipeline generated and converted (in partnership
with sales teams): In year revenue and TCV of deals won Win rate
and strategic positioning in priority AI pursuits Client impact
through successful AI transformation programs Estimated annual
compensation range for candidate based in the below location will
be $128000 to $250000 CA / CO / IL / MD / MN / NJ / NY / WA
