Job Description:

A global leader in land seismic technology is looking for a Technical Marketing Coordinator to ensure products meet the needs of users. The Technical Product Marketing Coordinator will support various teams to ensure products meet internal and external customer expectations in performance and usability.Salary: $80,000-$95,000Location: SW Houston, TXType of Position: Direct HireResponsibilities:

• Provide support to the Sales Operations team to ensure product quotations are configured properly and support the quoting process.
• Utilize product expertise and knowledge to understand and convey areas for improvement that contribute to product requirements.
• Offer advice on continuous product improvement and technology.. Provide technical assistance in the planning and design of effective product demonstrations for use at customer locations and/or at trade shows.
• Support product testing in lab and field environments, as required.
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams in the development and/or updating of product documentation, marketing collateral and product presentations.
• Develop internal processes to ensure effective coordination of tasks involving cross-functional teams.
• Manage the demonstration equipment pool to ensure all items are tracked, updated and ready for dispatch to customer locations and trade shows.
• Other duties as assigned.Requirements:
  • BA degree in a technical field required.
  • 5+ years experience in a technical product support role required.
  • Experience and or knowledge of the Oil and Gas services industry, Seismic data acquisition preferred.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite and project management software.
  • Experience using Syteline and PLM applications.
  • Experience testing and troubleshooting complex technical products.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Presentation skills to clearly communicate product functionality, advantages, and training.
  • Ideally, experience in an organization that designs, manufactures, and markets electronic equipment.
  • The position requires the successful completion of a criminal background check.
