Job Description:
Clean Harbors is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Class
B Hazmat Driver to join our team in the vital role of transporting
hazardous materials safely across North America. As a critical part
of our operations, you will contribute to our commitment of
preserving the environment by ensuring proper handling and
transportation of hazardous materials. This position requires
attention to detail, strict adherence to safety regulations, and a
commitment to environmental sustainability. Transport hazardous
materials in accordance with company guidelines and federal
regulations. Maintain records of materials and quantities
transported. Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and
perform preventative maintenance. Report defects, accidents, or
violations. Handle documentation concerning hazardous loads and
cleanup operations (as applicable). Comply with all local, state,
and federal regulations as well as company policies. Strong
understanding of hazardous material handling and disposal
regulations. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
Effective communication and documentation skills. Ability to
perform physical tasks, such as lifting and securing loads. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B with Hazmat
Endorsement. DOT Medical Card Clean driving and criminal
record.
