Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVOR - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/20/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - Cardiovascular Surgery /n/n Job Details: /n • Work in a cardiovascular surgery department with 11 operating rooms and a Cysto room /n• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios providing personalized, focused care /n• Utilize Meditech EMR system for patient documentation and care coordination /n• Day shift only position - no overnight shifts available /n• On-call requirements Monday through Friday 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM initially, transitioning to every other day and every other weekend once additional RN is hired /n• Minimum 3 years of recent cardiovascular surgery experience required /n• Must have on and off pump CABG experience - candidates without these skills will not be considered /n• Cardiovascular OR experience preferred /n• Vascular surgery experience preferred /n• Perform typical procedures including Off Pump CABG, On Pump CABG, Vascular Bypass, and Carotid Endarterectomy /n• Required certifications: RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS /n• Hospital-provided scrubs required /n• Must demonstrate hardworking attitude and strong team player mentality /n• Work alongside surgical team including Director, Charge Nurse, Circulators, Surgical Techs, Nurse Techs, Anesthesia Tech, and Unit Clerk /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive cardiovascular surgery department with state-of-the-art equipment and technology.
