Job Description:
HCA Houston Healthcare Mainland, a pivotal healthcare
institution in the Texas City region, is seeking a dedicated
Respiratory Therapist CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) to join
our team on an as-needed basis. Our facility, renowned for its
advanced technology and broad spectrum of services, offers an ideal
environment for healthcare professionals looking to impact patient
care directly. As a PRN Respiratory Therapist, you will provide
critical respiratory care services under supervision and adhere to
established therapeutic procedures tailored for all ages spanning
from neonatal to geriatric. This role demands acute attention to
detail, proficiency in respiratory care, and the ability to adapt
to the ever-evolving healthcare landscape. Evaluate patient's
respiratory conditions by performing diagnostic tests and
assessments. Administer treatments and respiratory therapies
according to prescribed orders and safety protocols. Monitor and
record the progress of the treatment plans and adjust interventions
as necessary. Maintain and operate medical equipment used in
respiratory care treatments, ensuring all equipment is functioning
accurately. Educate patients and families on managing illnesses and
diseases regarding respiratory health. Collaborate with other
healthcare professionals to design and implement comprehensive care
plans. Proficient in using respiratory care equipment and
monitoring tools. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified
Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential required. Active state
licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. BLS certified, with
preference for those also certified in ACLS or PALS.
