Job Description:
Memorial Hermann, a premier Texas health system renowned for our
commitment to exceptional healthcare outcomes, is looking for a
dedicated PRN EEG Neurodiagnostic Tech to join our team. This
position requires precision and a compassionate approach to patient
care, providing critical neurodiagnostic services on an as-needed
basis. The ideal candidate will be equipped with the latest
neurodiagnostic technology training and prepared to support various
departments with their expertise in EEG technology. Perform routine
and complex EEG procedures according to established standards and
practices. Set up and monitor equipment to record electrical
activity of the brain and other central nervous system structures.
Analyze and summarize test data to assist with patient diagnosis
and treatment plans. Maintain patient safety and comfort during
procedures. Document and report test results to appropriate
healthcare professionals. Stay current with advances in
neurodiagnostic technology and enhance professional growth and
development through participation in educational programs and
in-service meetings. In-depth knowledge of EEG technology and
neurophysiology. Ability to troubleshoot and maintain EEG
equipment. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Capability to
work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Medical
Insurance Life Insurance Certification in Neurophysiologic
Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) preferred. Registered
Electroencephalographic Technologist (R. EEG T.) certification
required.
