Job Description:
Memorial Hermann, a top-tier health system in Texas, seeks a
dedicated Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse to
join our team. This position is geared towards providing direct
nursing care for our cardiac surgery patients in a fast-paced
operating room setting. The selected candidate will play a pivotal
role in ensuring that our commitment to clinical excellence and
patient-centered care is reflected in all surgical procedures. We
are looking for a passionate individual who thrives in dynamic
environments and is committed to health improvement. Provide and
coordinate patient care before, during, and after cardiac surgery.
Ensure the operating room is prepared with all necessary supplies
and equipment. Assist surgeons during operations while managing
sterile environments. Monitor patient vital signs during surgery
and provide updates to the surgical team. Administer medications
and document patient's surgical records. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes.
Proficiency in operating room protocols and safety standards.
Strong ability to work collaboratively in high-stress situations.
Skilled in the use of medical software for patient management.
Superior communication and critical thinking skills. Experience
with advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) procedures. Medical
Insurance Life Insurance Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in
the state of Texas. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
