Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Kingwood, Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - Tele /n/n Job Details: /n • Work in a 36-bed telemetry unit with 1:6 patient ratios /n• Day shift includes 1 charge nurse, 7 nurses, 3 PCT, 1 unit secretary /n• Night shift includes 1 charge nurse, 6 nurses, 3 PCT /n• Unit huddles begin at 6:45 AM and 6:45 PM /n• Multidisciplinary rounds at 10:00 AM /n• Every other weekend required as scheduled /n• Work with computer on wheels, EKG machines, defibrillators, telemetry monitors, tube feeding pumps, suction regulators, vital sign machines, walkers, and crutches /n• Use Medi-tech EMR system /n• Perform IV starts, Foley insertion, NG tube insertion, staple removal, continuous bladder irrigation /n• Provide medication administration, vital sign monitoring, wound care and dressing changes, pre and post-op care /n• Must demonstrate patient assessment, critical thinking skills, medication administration, wound care, IV therapy, and EHR proficiency /n• Medical/surgical experience preferred /n• IMU experience preferred /n• Team player with adaptability required /n• Float to medical/surgical overflow areas as needed /n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS /n• Royal blue scrubs required /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center that provides a wide range of healthcare services to the community.
