Memorial Hermann, a cornerstone of health services in Texas, is seeking a dedicated Supp CT Tech to join our team. This role is critical in our mission to deliver top-tier patient outcomes through advanced imaging technology and compassionate care. The person in this position will be responsible for operating CT (Computed Tomography) scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. Operate CT equipment to complete diagnostic scans according to physician orders and established protocols. Ensure the comfort and safety of patients during procedures. Prepare patients and equipment for CT scans by setting up and explaining the procedure. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to confidentiality guidelines. Participate in training and mentoring of new staff and students. Maintain and calibrate the CT scanner and other equipment. Collaborate with radiologists to determine the need for further imaging or modification of treatment plans. Proficiency in operating CT imaging systems Strong understanding of radiology protocols and anatomy Excellent patient management and communication skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Valid state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
