Engineer Safety Manager (Deer Park, Tx)

Responsible for both technical execution and management of both Safety system related FEL/FEED, Site surveys for EPC projects and manufacturing clients' projects in the chemical and petrochemical industry.

Designs, tests, and implements Honeywell Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and Fire and Gas Systems (F&G) for the oil and gas industry as well as manage ongoing projects to meet the same safety guidelines.

Technically responsible for producing the project specifications and documentation, the hardware design as well as the software programming of the systems related to SIS.

Responsible for quality of the safety system portion of the project.

Conducts successful integrated factory acceptance tests (IFAT)for equipment testing at the system integration center.

Conducts successful site acceptance tests (SATs) for equipment testing and implementation in the field as an SIS engineer.

Requires a bachelor's degree in electronic engineering or foreign equivalent with 5 years relevant engineering experience.
