This is a hybrid, onsite role, located in either our Sugarland (Houston), TX or Omaha, NE office. What does a successful Manager of Software Development do at Fiserv?The Manager of Software Development will lead, coach, guide, and work with the development team to create industry leading frameworks, use developer tools to deliver with speed and quality. What you will do:--- Deliver solutions and product capabilities with speed and quality--- Drive engineering and technology excellence while working across multiple groups--- Enrich and build great teams who are focused on delivering high-quality results with speed--- Drive solutions that are client-centric and provide a broader view of what else is possible--- Identify promising opportunities to improve engineering velocity through systems and tools--- Work with the Product Management and UX to implement Agile product development practices across multi-functional teams--- Define and refine engineering processes and practices such as version control, build pipelines, automated testing, and code reviews. What you will need to have: --- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering or fields, or equivalent work experience--- 5+ years of experience leading development teams and organizations--- 10+ years of experience working on mixed technology stack (i.e. Cobol, MicroFocus, SQL, Talend, .NET, etc)
What would be great to have: --- Experience leading technical development products across all phases of its lifecycle, from prototyping through launch and beyond through growth phase and into maturity--- Experience using test automation, CI/CD to ensure high quality of software products--- Experience building core or foundational enterprise-level services--- Experience guiding distributed teams to deliver software through rapid iteration and with qualityLocation/Travel:

• Onsite hybrid role in Omaha, NE (Houston, TX area will also be considered)
