Coordinator of Grants Management and ComplianceWharton County Junior CollegeClosing Date/Time: Mon. 02/22/21 10:00 AM Central Time Salary: $56,069.00 - $62,736.00 AnnuallyJob Type: Full TimeLocation: Wharton Campus, 911 Boling Highway, Wharton, TexasGeneral Description:The Coordinator of Grants Management and Compliance seeks out and oversees the drafting, submission, and monitoring of grant proposals that are consistent with the mission of Wharton County Junior College (WCJC), including the goals identified in the strategic plan. This position will coordinate with various internal and external constituents to identify opportunities to expand grant funding within the institution to better serve our students and the greater community. Requirements:This position requires a Bachelor's degree and three years of full-time experience in education or with a nonprofit agency working with grants. This position requires knowledge of regulations, guidelines, and procedures pertaining to federal/state agencies and other funding agencies/organizations. This position requires expertise in technical writing and an understanding of data analysis and management. This position requires experience in research techniques to gather, analyze, and summarize information and to develop successful grant proposals. This position must have the ability to locate, research, and write grant applications and the ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate multiple projects. This position requires the ability to communicate collaboratively and work effectively with individuals from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds and the ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines for grant opportunities.
