Company shall approve all Contractor ---s personnel before their arrival to the Company---s facilities.Monitor and record chemical levels (both inventory and process) in Company---s systems, ensuring levels are acceptable.Maintains a close working relationship with the Company---s plant/ and field personnel so that information regarding the operation and performance of the chemical applications are freely communicated.Has training and knowledge of SOPs and HES requirements (safe work practices, Tenets of Operation).Maintain and implement a consistent corrosion monitoring programWork closely with current customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales within assigned territory. Observe and implement practical application of productsDevelop strong relationships with key stakeholders in current and new customers, including plant or facility executives. Leverage external network to pursue business opportunities within assigned territoryExecute account sales plans without supervision from senior leadersRegularly engage in Health Check (audit) of current accountsCollaborate in cross-functional projects within ChampionX, promoting the transfer of knowledge as well as the delivery of innovative processes and programsSupport/lead trial of new technologies and proactively show initiative by bringing ideas and new technologies to the DistrictLead internal teams and develop strategies for the business unitAnticipate customer needs based on knowledge of customer processes and operations; identify unmet customer needsManage direct reports to ensure all sales and service activities are meeting customer expectations and service levelsIndependently manage all tasks related to account managementExhibit expert-level knowledge in all product areasNegotiate price skillfully with less complex accounts independentlyIdentify external business opportunities across districts and business groupsMinimum Qualifications:Must be available to work a 28/28 RotationMust be able to work the designated schedule: Work schedule: Day work; however, On-Call 24/7/365 days per year at Company facilities.Must have valid passport to travel to Angola on RotationBachelor---s Degree or at least 7 years of Chemicals sales experience in lieu of degreeAbility to travel within assigned sales territoryMust have a valid Driver---s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle RecordNo immigration sponsorship offered for this role (US Only)Up to 50% overnight travel required to support sales territoryPhysical Demands: May be required to Lift/Push/Pull/Carry up to 55 pounds chest high.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor---s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial), or Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, etc.)7-10 years of successful technical sales or field sales support experience7-10 years of experience directly related to well service stimulation businessExperience in oil and gas industryHigh computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn internal business systems)Account leadership experience that includes calling on multilevel plant or facilities management to accomplish company goalsPrior experience that required excellent communication and organizational skillsPrior experiences that demonstrates strong ethics, effective time management, ability to multitask, adaptability, autonomy and self-motivationGood negotiation and problem resolution skillsMechanically InclinedAbout ChampionX ChampionX is a global leader in providing chemistry programs and services, drilling technology, artificial lift solutions, and automation technologies for the upstream and midstream oil and gas industry.
