Position Title: Sales and Service Manager Reporting Manger Title: Director, Channel Integration Position Summary: The Sales Manager reports to the Director of Channel Strategy & Integration. This role is responsible for to direct and oversee all sales policies, objectives and initiatives including short- and long-term sales strategies and evaluate effectiveness. Recommend product or service enhancements to improve member satisfaction and sales potential by partnering with leadership. Rely on extensive experience and judgment to coach to TDECU's strategic plan and accomplish goals and objectives. Lead and influence the sales strategy across LOB's. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Oversee sales activities and coach Market Directors to align with financial expectations, operational excellence, learning and growth and member experience. 2. Lead and participate in structured branch visits and partners across lines of business to drive relationship deepening and asset growth while maintaining return on assets. 3. Drive the adoption and execution of the member relationship process, including retail playbook and key interaction initiatives through lead management. 4. Support effective on-boarding, training and continuing education of sales staff with behaviors that reinforce a needs based sales model. 5. Plan to ensure achievement of market, branch and personal targets, aligning with TDECU's ten billion dollar asset growth goal. 6. Ensure sales and service targets are delivered through behavior management, performance reviews, reward and recognition. 7. Identify opportunities and nurture strengths of sales and service teams. Evolve sales programs to bridge and evolve a balanced performance gaps. 8. Maintain a market presence to ensure behavioral sales adaptation and achieve key results. 9. Coach to integration of supporting sales roles (Mortgage, Wealth, Commercial and Insurance in the branches. 10. Drive and implement effective performance management including goal setting/tracking and incentive planning. 11. Drive metrics and targets related to member experience, problem resolution, service level expectations including asset growth, learning and growth, member experience and financial outcomes. 12. Manage, develop, coach and motivate Market Directors to develop their team's skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and key results are met. 13. Maintain and foster relationship with line of business partners, initiatives and activities. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent mix of education and sales management experience required. Experience: 5+ years experience as a sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding goals Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong business sense and industry expertise Motivation Sales Planning Ability to build and grow key relationships Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills Knowledge of management processes Market Knowledge Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close Familiar with financial industry concepts, practices and procedures.
