Job Description Job Description Terminal Operations Manager Location: Greater Houston Area (On-Site) Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 or more (Flexible for strong candidates) Benefits: Health (100% employee covered), Dental/Vision, STD/LTD/Life (100% covered), 401K match, 104 hours PTO Overview A growing industrial materials company is seeking a Terminal Operations Manager to oversee daily operations at a material distribution terminal in the Greater Houston area. This role is responsible for operational efficiency, safety compliance, maintenance oversight, inventory management, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities Lead daily terminal operations including inventory control, logistics coordination, and cost management Ensure OSHA and environmental compliance standards are met Oversee safety programs and conduct regular inspections Manage staffing, training, scheduling, and performance of terminal employees Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs Coordinate with logistics partners to prevent stockouts and demurrage Develop and manage terminal operating budgets Oversee facility maintenance including electrical and mechanical systems Maintain strong cross-functional communication with leadership and logistics teams Qualifications 5 years experience in terminal operations, dry bulk distribution, or bulk materials handling Strong maintenance and electrical knowledge Experience supervising front-line operational teams Demonstrated cost control and operational optimization capability Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred (not required) Work Environment & Schedule 100% On-Site role Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed
