Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensed in Texas is needed for
an elementary school assignment in Spring, TX, spanning the entire
school year. This is a contract role with a focus on delivering
speech therapy services in a school setting. Location: Spring, TX
Type: Contract, Full-Time (37.5 hours/week) Duration: ASAP through
June 4, 2026 Setting: Elementary school (in-person or virtual
options available) Key Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive
speech therapy assessments and interventions through the Speech
Therapy Assessment Team (STAT) - Supervise Speech-Language
Pathology Assistants (SLPA) - Attend referral and Individualized
Education Program (IEP) meetings - Conduct evaluations and complete
necessary documentation - Deliver services in alignment with
school-based requirements and state regulations - Bilingual skills
are a plus and may enhance effectiveness in serving diverse student
populations Qualifications & Experience: - Active Texas SLP license
(mandatory; must provide screenshot) - Prior school-based SLP
experience required - Candidates with VOCO status (passed technical
screening and completed virtual school-based assignments) are
encouraged to apply; however, no SLP-CFY candidates - Comfortable
commuting to East/Southeast Houston metro area schools - Ability to
obtain HISD fingerprints within three days of contract signing
Desired Candidate Profile: - Demonstrated experience supervising
SLPA and managing caseloads in educational settings - Proven track
record in evaluation, therapy planning, and IEP collaboration -
Strong communication and organizational skills - For VOCO
candidates: Experience successfully delivering virtual speech
