Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with an active Texas license is
needed to provide essential speech therapy services at elementary
schools located in the Houston metropolitan area. This contract
role runs through the current school year with an assignment end
date of June 4, 2026. Candidates must have school-based experience
and be comfortable with either in-person or virtual therapy
sessions. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language
evaluations and deliver therapeutic interventions for elementary
students Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and
collaborate with educational teams through referral and IEP
meetings Participate in the Speech Therapy Assessment Team (STAT)
to ensure effective student support Maintain compliance with all
licensing and school district requirements Qualifications: Active
Texas SLP license (proof required) Prior speech-language pathology
experience in a school setting is mandatory Open to Virtual
Clinical Observation (VOCO) candidates who have completed technical
screenings and virtual school-based assignments No Clinical
Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered Bilingual skills are a
plus but not required Reliable transportation and willingness to
commute to assigned schools Additional Details: Full-time position
(37.5 hours per week), no part-time opportunities Interview
conducted via Microsoft Teams (1530 minutes) Immediate availability
preferred Metropolitan Houston locations in East or Southeast
