Job Description:
Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long-term, low-cost
provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company’s
Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North
American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean
and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven
technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture
Global’s modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional
designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational
reliability at significantly lower capital cost. We are seeking an
Assurance Coordinator. This role is part of the Venture Global
Assurance Team and will be responsible for the day-to-day
administration of the Venture Global Assurance Program. The
objective of this program is to provide assurance to Venture
Global’s Executive leadership that all facilities are
satisfactorily completed and commissioned and can reliably meet or
exceed its operating parameters and the commercial commitments of
the respective facilities’ terminals. The Assurance Coordinator,
will work directly with the respective Assurance Managers, Business
owners and Planning functions across the respective terminals or
assets to ensure timely progress, accurate reporting and validate
that items are packaged and ready for sign off and certification.
This position will report to the Vice President of Engineering.
This position will be located in Houston, TX with travel to both
Cameron, LA and Point Celeste, LA at our Louisiana LNG Facilities.
Responsibilities: Executes on a structured, transparent, and
traceable decision gate process confirming that the facility is
safe, reliable, operating as designed and organizationally ready
for long-term commercial operations. Ensures that all assurance
checks are closed, deviations appropriately captured as applicable,
and the necessary documentation is completed in accordance with the
program requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in
engineering or relevant Project Management and or Operations Risk
Management Certification or relative experience. Three to Five
(3-5) years demonstrable experience in an Operations Supervisory or
Project Management role that manages complex systems, people and
processes with key attributes as, but not limited to the following:
Professional: Technical Expertise & Experience: Must possess
relevant technical knowledge and hands-on experience specific to
assurance and program management. Analytical & Problem-Solving
Skills: The ability to consolidate information from diverse
sources, identify root causes of issues, and provide actionable
recommendations (not just point out problems) is crucial. Critical
Thinking & Professional Skepticism: Ability to question
assumptions, investigate anomalies, and not simply accept
information at face value to ensure an unbiased review.
Understanding of applicable codes, standards or recommended
practices that underpins the framework for assurance and
managements systems. Attention to Detail: Meticulousness helps
identify small discrepancies that could lead to significant issues
if overlooked. Interpersonal Skills & Team Dynamics: Communication:
Clear, effective communication is paramount for conveying complex
information, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders,
management, and team members alike. This includes strong
presentation and active listening skills. Collaboration & Teamwork:
Foster a culture of mutual respect and information sharing,
enabling open dialogue and a free exchange of ideas to produce more
comprehensive reviews. Independence & Objectivity: Must maintain
professional independence and objectivity to provide unbiased
assessments, which builds credibility and trust with stakeholders.
Adaptability & Resilience: The landscape of technology and business
needs is constantly changing. Must be flexible and able to adjust
to new tools, processes, and unexpected project alterations. Strong
Ethical Values: Adherence to a strict code of ethics, including
integrity and confidentiality, is fundamental to the assurance
function and maintaining trust. Must maintain a Transportation
Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card in good standing
