Position Summary: The Brand Marketing Specialist works to deliver high impact brand marketing campaigns designed to drive towards the credit union's brand and advertising. This person will be responsible for helping develop and deploy collateral that upholds and drive the TDECU brand forward.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This role will implement, and execute campaigns aligned with TDECU's brand and advertising initiatives, and ensure execution is aligned with growth goals, brand vision, value proposition, and member experience. This person will partner with the product team, community partnership team, public relations, and social media to develop solutions and maintain brand consistency. Responsible for assisting in development and introduction of innovative brand and advertising campaigns, partnering with other lines of business to ensure brand consistency is achieved, and helping elevate the TDECU brand as a whole. This person will stay up to date with relevant market conditions, industry trends, and emerging analytics, and appropriately implement this knowledge to contribute to credit union growth, brand awareness, and reputation enhancement. Maintain a thorough understanding of state and federal laws and regulations related to credit union compliance and marketing strategy execution.Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent mix of education and experience required. Advanced degree preferred.Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in financial marketing, advertising, public relations, product development, or communications management.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Demonstrated financial marketing performance with knowledge of social media, online communications, traditional media-based marketing, public relations, brand management, and product management.Forward-thinking and creative individual with the ability to perform strategicallyStrong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate professionally at all levels including executive managementAbility to provide tactical execution necessary to leverage growth opportunities and meets or exceeds our business goalsAbility to analyze marketing metrics and report on the impact on the businessStrong project, time, and resource management and problem-solving skills to deliver projects on-time in a fast-paced environmentExperience in a collaborative team environment and data-driven cultureExceptional member interaction and relationship management skillsExtensive knowledge of marketing across various mediumsPhysical Demands and Work Environment: (The physical demands and work environment characteristics described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform essential functions of this position and/or may be encountered while performing essential functions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.This position may require regional travel up to 60% of the time based on business needs.
