Job Description:

Clinical Support Specialist
SUMMARY
Responsible for client files and heavy data entry; disperses client information to referral and contracting sources; schedules appointments; gives information to callers as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING
Other duties may be assigned as necessary.


  • Responsible for record-keeping duties associated with child and family files at assigned branch office.
  • Creates charts for new children and families admitted into the program within 24 hours or the next business day as indicated.
  • Maintains all children and family charts in an organized fashion.
  • Organizes and maintains database and file system and files correspondence and other records.
  • May be required to drive ACFM vehicles, be insurable with our auto insurance provider, and complete Arrow's vehicle training.
  • Perform all duties within contract, state and federal regulations, Arrow policy, and COA standards.

    Education, Licensure and/or Experience
    The Clinical Support Specialist shall hold at minimum a High School diploma and possess one year of related experience. Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field and possess one year of related experience.
    Language Skills
    Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the organization.
    Mathematical Skills
    Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions.
    Reasoning Ability
    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with occasional variables.
    Other Requirements

    • Valid driver's license
    • Proof of current Auto Registration, Inspection and Insurance
    • Driving Record (three years) from the state in which the driver's license is valid
    • Must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug test.
    • Must submit to and pass random drug tests during employment.
    • Must successfully pass all background screens as required by the state.
    • Must be 21 years of age or older.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may have occasional contact with cleaning solvents, aromatics and nuisance dusts. Some locations may require PCM (Professional Crisis Management) Training.
      Other physical requirements specific to this job: Occasionally required to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. Occasionally required to push/pull up to 50 lbs. Occasionally required to climb stairs Occasionally required to bend, stoop, crouch or required to stand from a kneeling position, with both knees down, 5 times in one minute
