This industry leader has an immediate opening for a Billing AccountantThis position is responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient client billing and analysis. The candidate will have a solid understanding of our company business model and overall invoicing process flow in order to provide the best end product to our client and support to field operations. In addition, the candidate will have a solid and clear understanding of their assigned client requirements. The candidate will handle all phases of invoice preparation, from creation to distribution. Job Responsibilities:(other job duties may be assigned)

• Contract set up in JDE and or Fusion
• Updating customer information and loading contract amendments in clients's contract management system (CMS)
• Review and confirmation with field operations of all expected client invoices to be billed
• Accurate and efficient billing invoice creation
• Resolve and/or communicate all billing invoice exceptions with intention to resolve for assigned clients
• Gain and retain working knowledge of all assigned client requirements as it relates to billing and ensure these requirements are met
• Ensure accurate billing invoice delivery through clients required method
• Printing and posting of Invoice in JDE
• Tracking invoices through client portals
• Review, write up and tracking of revenue accruals
• Review and analysis of monthly billing reports
• Assisting field with identifying labor and supply miscodes and correcting / training source to prevent future errors
• Automating invoice creation in JDEQualifications:To be successful in this position, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • 2-5+ years of experience working in a billing and/or invoicing position required
  • Working knowledge of JDE and or Fusion is a Plus
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Good communication and writing skills
  • Able to meet billing deadlines with a results oriented attitude
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, which may require candidate to work past normal business hours in order to accomplish
  • Proven ability to effectively manage time in accordance with department and client deadlines
  • Understanding of journal entries and accruals
  • Proven results oriented and effective time management skills
  • Proven ability to focus on company and department goals
  • High-level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Willingness to accept new challenges and responsibilities
  • Proven ability to work within a fast paced environment and meet required deadlines.
  • Proven ability to learn and maintain working knowledge of customized programs
  • Minimal travel, under 10%
  • Other duties as assigned
