• Assistance with CPE, Continuing Professional Education Credits for licensureJob DetailsA Senior Tax Associate is responsible for providing high-level tax consulting and compliance services to clients, with a focus on corporate, partnership, LLC, and individual tax. A CPA certification is preferred, but not required, and the individual in this role should have a minimum of three years of experience in tax.Key Responsibilities:Managing and leading tax engagements for clients, including planning, execution, and deliveryIdentifying and mitigating tax risks for clientsProviding tax research and advice on complex tax issuesBuilding and maintaining relationships with clients and other professionalsSupervising, mentoring and training junior staffStaying current on tax laws and regulations and incorporating that knowledge into client workReviewing and preparing federal and state income tax returnsReviewing and preparing partnership, corporate and LLC tax returnsReviewing and preparing individual tax returnsReviewing and preparing sales and use tax returnsReviewing and preparing property tax returnsQualifications:CPA certification is preferredBachelor's degree in Accounting or related fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience in corporate, partnership, LLC and individual taxStrong technical tax knowledge and experienceStrong project management and leadership skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong knowledge of tax laws and regulationsStrong computer skills including proficiency in tax preparation software.Minimum RequirementsCPA strongly preferred, exam eligible and or active PTIN 3+ years of public accounting experience required Experience with high net worth/HNW preferredInterested in hearing more?
