Overview of the Controller:--- Manage month-end close process and preparation of financial statements.--- Manage financial software and systems implementation projects.--- Actively review work product to ensure accuracy in billing, collections, and payments--- Perform detailed monthly reviews of costs and overhead allocations.--- Coordinate all audit activity.--- Manage team of 3 direct reports (Staff & Senior Accountant, AP Lead)--- Prepares financial reports and presents findings and recommendations to top management.--- Develop policies, procedures, & controls to produce monthly financial statements.--- Assist with acquisition models and post-acquisition integration activities including process adoption.--- Developing written documentation of accounting procedures.--- Coordinate with CPA firm to ensure accurate and timely preparation of tax returns and audit report.--- Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes--- Management Reporting--- Support M&A activity--- Ensure cash flow managementQualifications of the Controller:--- Bachelor's degree in accounting--- Minimum of 7 Years relevant experience--- Strong Excel skills; PowerBI preferred. --- Previous leadership experience leading smaller teams. --- Previous PE portfolio company experience helpful.#INSEP2023
