Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY Under direct supervision, assists in the preparation
of federal and state income tax returns and other tax filings.
Provide tax support to tax managers. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor---s
Degree in Accounting or related business field preferred. 1 --- 2
years of experience in Tax or related business field. Proficient in
Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SAP. Good human relations and
communication, oral and written skills; works well with others.
Organized; able to multi-task and work quickly. Comfortable with
and willing to take responsibility and ownership of deadlines and
associated processes. Eye for detail and a high regard for quality.
Open to learning new things and takes direction well. ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS Research tax issues. Assist in the preparation of federal
and state income tax returns. Assist with issues related to
international tax returns Assist with issues associated with local
international, including VAT and Asset Tax, taxes. Work with
outside consultants to establish property values for Ad Valorem
tax. Assist with Quarterly and Annual ASC 740 (f/k/a/) FAS109
Calculation. Assist with the calculation of Deferred Income Taxes.
Assist in preparation of Forms 5471 showing earnings and profits
for all foreign subsidiaries. Assist in the calculation of earnings
and profits of U. S. Consolidated Group and Foreign Subsidiaries.
Assist in the calculation of the taxes on Company bids. Assist with
the Compliance of all inter-company agreements. Assist in the tax
planning for entry into new markets or countries. Assist in SAP
related projects. Assist in providing information to external
auditors. Maintain effective, open, and regular communications with
Management. Assist in the writing of department AFEs. Seek out
relevant training and development opportunities. Provide
recommendations regarding ways of improvement in areas of work.
Assisting in the monitoring of actual vs. budgetary performance.
Other duties as assigned by tax managers.
